Windows 11 got you down? Thinking about Linux?

There's no reason to beat around the bush - Windows 11 sucks. Windows 10 is usable but no where near as good as Windows 7 was. The problem with Windows 11 is that it so desperately tries to reinvent itself that it soiled the bed trying to show off to the user. I hated it almost instantly after trying it. I would've been impressed if Microsoft went back to a more Windows 7 way of thinking. Windows 7 was, what i concider to be, a true operating system. Windows 10 and 11 is more of an advertising platform or perpetual "shareware". Come to think of it, why does Microsoft charge money for an operating system like Windows 10 (and 11)? It's littred with sponsores software, it collects user data like nobodys business and violates the users privacy like no other operating system before it. I doubt Windows 12 will be any better, and with all the AI features showed down our throats and telemetry it's becoming increasingly stupid to actually use Windows. It is no longer a serious operating system. Linux is good enough for nearly everything so I think it's time to switch to Linux for day to day use.
